The Australian Singing Competition Finals for 1999 was hosted in Adelaide, South Australia. The Finals Concert, sponsored by IFAC, was reported in the Adelaide Advertiser as "… a thrilling, occasionally spine-chilling night". The 1999 Australian Singing Competition winner was Janette Zilioli, and the winner of the Handa Opera Scholarship was Adrian McEniery.
