CATEGORIES - AN OVERVIEW
IFAC (Australia)
invites applications for funding in the following categories:
- Cultural
Development
- Arts
Exchange
- New
Works
- Performance
and Touring
- Business/Arts
Partnerships
Cultural
Development
IFAC (Australia) will provide funds for activities which build relationships
between cultures in areas or regions which would not normally have access
to other sources of funding (maximum allocation normally $10,000).
Arts
Exchange
IFAC (Australia) will provide funds to support the exchange of exceptional
artists between cultures seeking short term residencies and/or specialist
training. Residencies will normally be between four to six weeks, and
IFAC (Australia) will provide airfares, living expenses, domestic travel
and insurance (maximum allocation normally $10,000).
New Works
Each year, IFAC (Australia) will consider applications for one "new
works" programme, aimed at developing or introducing new performance
or artistic elements into an established (and creditable) arts practice
(maximum allocation normally $20,000).
Performance
and Touring
IFAC (Australia) will also consider applications annually for a major
performance programme which will normally involve taking new products
to other regions outside of their usual scope of activity (maximum allocation
normally $50,000).
Business/Arts
Partnerships
IFAC (Australia) will consider applications to partner with a corporate
entity in jointly sponsoring significant arts activity.
