IFAC (Australia) invites applications for funding in the following categories:

  • Cultural Development
  • Arts Exchange
  • New Works
  • Performance and Touring
  • Business/Arts Partnerships

Cultural Development
IFAC (Australia) will provide funds for activities which build relationships between cultures in areas or regions which would not normally have access to other sources of funding (maximum allocation normally $10,000).

Arts Exchange
IFAC (Australia) will provide funds to support the exchange of exceptional artists between cultures seeking short term residencies and/or specialist training. Residencies will normally be between four to six weeks, and IFAC (Australia) will provide airfares, living expenses, domestic travel and insurance (maximum allocation normally $10,000).

New Works
Each year, IFAC (Australia) will consider applications for one "new works" programme, aimed at developing or introducing new performance or artistic elements into an established (and creditable) arts practice (maximum allocation normally $20,000).

Performance and Touring
IFAC (Australia) will also consider applications annually for a major performance programme which will normally involve taking new products to other regions outside of their usual scope of activity (maximum allocation normally $50,000).

Business/Arts Partnerships
IFAC (Australia) will consider applications to partner with a corporate entity in jointly sponsoring significant arts activity.
